The U.S. Coalition for TPP is a broad-based group of U.S. companies and associations representing the principal sectors of the U.S. economy including agriculture, manufacturing, merchandising, processing, publishing, retailing, technology, transportation and services. Coalition members support and are working to secure approval of the TPP agreement in the United States.
The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is an ambitious and potentially groundbreaking free trade agreement (FTA) recently negotiated by the United States and 11 other countries in the Asia-Pacific region. With total trade in 2013 between the U.S. and TPP countries exceeding $1.5 trillion in goods and $270 billion in services, TPP has the potential to become the largest U.S. FTA in history.
